Penny Black Thank You

I made this for the Penny Black Saturday Challenge, which is a colour challenge, using pink, brown and green, this is the first time I have made a square card, but with the image I felt it best. I coloured it with whisper pens layered it on brown card, then used some the same brown card for my base, the message was computer generated, and some brown and pink check paper to try and give it a bit of life, a bit of green ribbon to match up with the breen leaves and grass, and finally layered the image onto the card with foam pads.

Christmas in June

The challenge this week from Daring Cardmakers is from Jo and its Christmas in June.. well its about time I started my Christmas cards, so for this one I used a Penny Black stamp, coloured it with Whisper pens and finished off with silver ribbon

Friendship card

This week's challnge from the PB Saturday Challenge is to a make a friendship card.
I used a lovely PB teddy card with a big tie which I coloured blue to match the blue in the stripe paper I used and finished it off with black ribbon.

Trees for a man

This weeks challenge from DCM was a quick card in under 30 mins, so I gave it a go! Used a brown card, strip of green card in the centre, just stamped my trees with a brown ink pad onto white card, no colouring in, layered that onto green card and then onto gold, and placed it into the centre of the card, finished it with with gold brads and a bit of gold ribbon.

Thank you in pink

I have made this card for some people we met on our recent holiday to China, they used Paint Shop Pro like I do and they were very helpful and just wanted to say 'Thank You' The image is from Penny Black and it was one that jo-onlyjoking kindly sent me. It was coloured with pearlised paint, and then stickles was added, the ticket punch was used, and then finished with ribbon. The sentiment was computer generated.
Thank you for looking

3rd Birthday

This is for a neighbours little girls 3rd birthday, I used the Penny Black stamp coloured with whisper pens, and finished off with red ribbon.

Pearl Wedding

This is a card I made for our friends Peter and Eileen’s Pearl Wedding anniversary, I used matt photographic paper to print their names on as it takes a long time to dry (not like when you print on gloss paper) and then I used silver embossing powder. I made the flowers from an old pearl necklace laced together with dental floss.

Soon there should be some of my latest cards and other crafty projects. Just give me time to understand what I should be doing. If anyone visits my blog, just stop by and say Hi!
