Garden friends

You should go and have a look at Kath's blog and the pictures of her snow, she is challenging us to post pictures of our snow on our blog so she can come and see it, Im afraid my snow isnt a deep as yours Kath (thank goodness) but I took a quick shot of these 7 chaffinches who regularly visit our garden, the picture isnt that clear as it was taken through the glass of our kitchen window, but if you click on the picture it should enlarge.

My visit to Beer, Devon

Was working today, and had 3 hours between appointments and visited the small (not sure if they call it a town or a village) of Beer, on the south Devon coast, and here a few photographs

The cottage is called Hollyhock Cottage, I know one person who visits my blog is interested in house and cottage names in England, so this photograph is just for her, there was only one holyhock in flower in the garden, but cant really been seen in such a small photograph
