Rosette card

My second card this week for the Less is More challenge, this time I used patterned papr from the Dovecraft charcoal prints a stripe paper cut a strip and then used my Hougie board and creased it every 1/2cm and made this rosette, finished it off with a black pearl, layered it onto white card which was embossed with swiss dots and then black. The sentiment was computer generated with the Scriptina font.

Lovely as an Oak tree

I'm using one of my favourite sets, Lovely as a tree by Stampin Up, the backing card I scored with my new Hougie board, so easy to use scoring every centimeter. the corners are from the winter set of cuttlebug, the sentiment was computer generated, this card is for the following challenges:-

Our creative corner where special attention had to be given to corners.
One stop craft challenge where I used the sketch they gave us.
Cup cake craft challenge where they asked for One for the Boys, a card suitable for a male.
Magical crafts fortnightly challenge, they also asked for a card for a man.
