Windmill card

Challenge 133 from Less is More, this week we are asked to make a card, the theme is 'Round and Round' I had no stamps with vehicles so opted to make a windmill.

Numbers

Another challenge from Chrissie and Jen from Less is More and this week it has to be a single layer card with numbers, I used two stamps from the Stampin up set City of David, I know numbers are small but they are there in the last line.  To finish off the card I scord some line to make a frame.

Less is More has a colour challenge this week

not the colours I love or use out of choice, but came up with this

the sentiment is typed using the 4th colour, and the centres of the flowers are this colour too, the rest I think are self explanatory.

Jesus is the Reason for the Season

This is my take for the challenge at Less is More this week.  I had no stamps with shoes so went for the colours, black and cream, and have come up with this card (I am well behind with my new year resolution to make Christmas cards each week!) so here is one

Cream card, sentiment is computer generated and die cuts are from black card.
I used 3 die cuts and joined them together to what I feel is a story.

Lime and Black

When I saw that this weeks challenge at Less is More I knew I had nothing lime! so had to make a visit to my nearest craft shop Yandles at Martock, and glad I went because they had people demonstrating there, and Jill of Jill Quills was there and I was fortunate enough to see the Anniversary card she has just made, do take a look of the link.
My card was made using the lime card and also a memory box die cut.

Licorice and white

Have been visiting Sues's blog today A consuming passion and say she had made a lovely card for the challenge at Annablle Stamp blog and it encouraged me to enter, I just hope I didn't have to use one of their products as it didn't mention this, but it was fun doing the card.  The lacy border punch is one of Martha Stewarts punches, the sentiment was computer generated.  On the butterflies I have used 1mm black flat backed gems!!  not sure I will use those very often!  they were a devil to get into place.

The challenge for this week at Less is More - they are asking for a scalloped card, I cut 2 scallops one with orange and one black, then cut every other scallop away, I thought it added interest, the text was computer generated.  I also added some black flat backed gems.

Framed card

I'm back to blogging again, I don't know where the last 3 months has gone, well there was Christmas and also a holiday in Egypt, have made a few cards that needed to get straight out but never got the the camera.
Less is More challenge this week was a framed card, I have layered the yellow and green balloons and embossed them with clear powder to give a bit of interest.

Memory box poppy

I love this memory box die.  This photograph doesn't do it justice, the poppy is cut from mirror card, and its for the Less is More challenge, where they want to see sparkles or shine.

Autumn colours

I know I have been absent for a long time! but back now, and wanted to do a card for this weeks Less is more challenge, using Autumn colours.  I have had a good time while I have been away and even managed to meet up with Sylvia in Gib. spent a lovely 2 hours chatting over coffee, pity is was one of there few days with rain,
