I started with embossing swiss dots onto white card and then matting that onto red, and then onto my base card, and placing red ribbon along the centre. This card was inspired from the video I watch on StampTV, I used my favourite stamp set again Stampin Up Lovely as a tree, stamped on and embossed with silver, then cut the image into 4 equal parts and stuck onto black card with small spaces left to give the window effect. This was then mounted with foam pads onto my prepared card. It fits the challenges-
Tuesday taggers - mainly black
Bah Humbug - Christmas window card
Shirley2girls - twist on red
The stampman - 2 colours

ReplyDeleteOh this is just gorgeous and so elegant. I love the black and white with red as both are striking colours and compliment each other perfectly. What a fabulous idea to cut the image into four and make it look like a window.
