Pastel flower

My choice for my card today was a pastel flower, for this I used a die cut from Marianne designs, I wanted it to look like a wild Dog Rose so sponged the edges with a pale pink, cut 2 stemens out with my punch, the top layer I trimmed back a bit and finished it off with a pale green pearl. I used a stamp for Stampin Up Mixed Bouquet for the stem, and finished it off with a small piece of green Ribbon, this was layered onto card sponged with the pink. The sentiment was computer generated, which I layer onto white card again sponged with pink. I would welcome criticism as by hearing what other people think I hope I can make improvements to my cardmaking. I will be entering this for these challenges:

Simple Create - Power of flowers
Craft us Crazy - Nature

My sentiment was computer generated using Park Avenue BT font.

Spring flowers
This weeks challenge at Less is More is 'Spring' so I thought it had to be spring flowers, and so I chose this digi of tulips, coloured them and cut them out with my nestabilities and mounted them on red card scalloped nestabilities, then the fun began.... I have had my first try at circular text, which I did in Microsoft Publisher using the Papyrus font, it took a bit of playing to get the circle the correct size, but luckily the first time I printed it it was perfect.

Through the window
I started with embossing swiss dots onto white card and then matting that onto red, and then onto my base card, and placing red ribbon along the centre. This card was inspired from the video I watch on StampTV, I used my favourite stamp set again Stampin Up Lovely as a tree, stamped on and embossed with silver, then cut the image into 4 equal parts and stuck onto black card with small spaces left to give the window effect. This was then mounted with foam pads onto my prepared card. It fits the challenges-Tuesday taggers - mainly black
