My second card this week for the Less is More challenge, this time I used patterned papr from the Dovecraft charcoal prints a stripe paper cut a strip and then used my Hougie board and creased it every 1/2cm and made this rosette, finished it off with a black pearl, layered it onto white card which was embossed with swiss dots and then black. The sentiment was computer generated with the Scriptina font.

I just learnt how to make rosettes! This is a lovely way to use one - so dramatic and effective in the shades of grey :-)
ReplyDeleteI love the clean lines of this one and the paper you used for the rosette looks better like this than in its original form!
ReplyDeleteSuper Jose!

This is lovely and these rosettes are brilliantly simple but very effective (albeit large rate postage stamps)

Great male card Jose - the rosette works really well with the swiss dots background and the Scriptina font.
