I enjoyed a lovely afternoon yesterday following after the Royal Wedding, it was a party organised by the
Church I worship at, it was held in the church hall, there were a varity of ages there from under one year to over 90. There were crafts for the children at the start, and then we sat down to a lovely tea, we all took a contribution, savouries and cakes, and our Rector is a member of the magic circle and entertained us. So I felt it would be nice to make a card as a 'thank you' for the people that organised it. I kept to the 'red, white and blue' colour theme. All three of the butterflies I covered with Rangers glossy accents, its the first time I have used them and am pleased with the result. The sentiment is computer generated using the Pristina font.
I am entering this for the challenge at

Beautiful card glad you had a good time yesterday..Chris xx
ReplyDeleteJose, I have been thinking about you a lot with all of the festivities going on in your wonderful country!! I have seen parts of it several times. I loved the traditional vows, and all of the lovely hymns that were sung and played. It was really like a story book day. How thankful that none of the "crazies" made any trouble. It looked like all went off without a 'hitch'. The crowds were so well behaved and maintained. These are the kinds of things that makes one's heart swell with pride for our country. (Of course we have nothing so grand as a prince and princess)
ReplyDeleteI do so like your card. The butterflies are truly a great addition.
I think of you often.
You sound as if you had a lovely party Jose! Love those glossy butterflies on your card and the red, white and blue colour scheme.
