Manhattan Rose Anniversary

Using the gorgeous Manhattan Rose embossing folder here with astral effect card, and cream card for the base, embossed the sentitment using text from my computer and embossed with fine gold embossing powder, finished off with 2 cream cream flat backed pearls for the centre of the flowers and another 3 for a slight decoration down the side.

This week Stamp Something Challenge asked for a 'Wedding theme' so my Wedding Anniversary card fitted the bill. This was also suitable for the One Stop Craft Challenge where an embossed card was called for. Do pop over to these 2 sites and see what wonderful work the design teams have done.

  4. I love this rose. I like the cardstock you used for the roses--it is so creamy and rich. I had this embossing folder marked in my SU catalog, but when I looked at it as I was making a new order, I couldn't remember why I had earmarked it. Your card made me remember. It is just very elegant!

Received your wonderful letter yesterday. Thank you so much. (a letter will follow)

  9. Lovely roses, Jose! Love the elegant simplicity of your balloons below, too.

Thank you for your comment on my blog. :o) The font you asked about is LB-Typewriter. It's one from a CD-Rom that came with a Lisa Bearnson scrapbooking book, ordered from QVC several years ago. There is a great collection of fonts on there, including one that looks like Dymo tape. Very cool!

I have looked on Lisa's site, and I don't think that particular book is in print any more, but you can look for her products HERE

Hope I remembered how to do a comment link ok.. it's been a while!

    Hugs,
    Chris xx
