Cuttlebug Lace Tree

I bought this embossing folder at Westpoint on Thursday, and love it. I made this card for the Pollycraft Challenge where you had to make a card using black and white and one other colour. First I embossed my lace tree onto white card, then printed my sentiment which was computer generated using red font. This was layered onto black card and then stuck to the base card. I used red whisper red dots on the tree and punched out a white snowflake using my X Cut punch, then a red snowflake and stuck the 2 together, and finished it off with a red whisper dot. Finally tied red ribbon knot and fixed to the bottom of the tree.

  5. This is gorgeous Jose. Really reminds one of a white Xmas, which we of course don't have here in SA as Xmas is in the middle of our summer.

Thanks for visiting my food blog Jose.

I was blessed with a baby girl last June 16. But she was diagnoised with Coarctation of Aorta. So she underwent a open heart bi-pass surgery on her 4th day of birth. By god's grace, she is doing well now. Check her blog, http://thaswika.blogspot.com/. So busy nowadays taking care of her... will come back soon :)
