My visit to Beer, Devon

Was working today, and had 3 hours between appointments and visited the small (not sure if they call it a town or a village) of Beer, on the south Devon coast, and here a few photographs

The cottage is called Hollyhock Cottage, I know one person who visits my blog is interested in house and cottage names in England, so this photograph is just for her, there was only one holyhock in flower in the garden, but cant really been seen in such a small photograph

  1. Oh I love Hollyhock Cottage! It looks more than a "cottage" though. Your picture of the coast line is so beautiful. It looks very much like our northern Oregon coastline near Manzanita! However we don't have all of the boats, etc on the sand. I love the seashore! I am two hours from it.

Thanks for sharing those beautiful pictures from your beautiful England.

  5. You have a photographer hiding in you too. A man with so many hidden talents. The photos are marvellous.
Hollyhock Cottage is beautiful, but looks really big to be called a cottage doesn't it?
